THE LAST PIC!!!!!!!!!!
595 photos merged together representing about 5.5 hours in one image. (11:30 pm - 5:00 am) It was a cold night so the lake was steaming. The geese were resting their wings for the night while socializing about the adventures of the day and the good times ahead… their warm and wonderful destination much further south of here. Or maybe they were just making strange noises that no one understood. You can see this timelapse and a bunch more in this video… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXXED2Z_Q5A

Here is just one of a dozen or so shots from my upcoming and as-yet untitled short time-lapse film covering my recent trip to the States. The bar is Glisan Street Pub in Portland, Oregon. Cheers to Jesse and Matt for allowing me to film them (ahem) working and to the locals for taking part.
The panning effect was achieved using a very impressive and inexpensive slider dolly supplied by Digislider. As I only received it two days before I left the UK the first chance I got to test it was 3200ft above Yosemite Valley at Glacier Point, facing the Half Dome. You’ll have to wait to see that footage though. I am very happy with my purchase.
